Calling all women and allies to come together and march as the polls open for early voting in Illinois!!! Join She Votes Illinois on Saturday, October 13, 2018 in Grant Park as we gather in downtown Chicago to celebrate the spirit of the resistance efforts over the past year and unite to focus on voting in the November 6, 2018 general election. Bring your friends, your signs, and your marching spirits!
The Voter Village - She Votes Illinois will join businesses, campaigns, non-profit, and other civic organizations so that we can interact directly with YOU. Visit us in this vibrant, bustling Voter Village, where you will find opportunities for connection and ideas on how you can support others and do impactful work in our communities and beyond. The Voter Village of booths will be open festival style starting at 9am and will remain active until the march has concluded at 1pm. Be sure to stop by our booth to say hi, get to know us, share with us what’s important to you, learn more about who we are, and how you can support our mission.
First Time Voter Experience - This year the March To The Polls will have a special, designated area just for first time voters. If this will be your first time voting, reserve a spot in this dedicated area of the rally zone set aside just for you! Celebrate your new voting power, meet each other, interact with speakers, elected officials, candidates and other special guests and enjoy the rally from the front. First Time Voters will be invited to step off the march and parade us to an early voting supersite, where Chicago voters can cast their ballots right there.
Visit Women's March Chicago for more details on the march. We encourage everyone to review the guidelines on what you can and cannot bring to the rally prior to the event.
