Graffiti and tattoo artist Rasty Knayles is the founder of Joburg's first gallery dedicated to graffiti, Grayscale Gallery in Braamfontein, and the City of Gold Urban Art Festival which sees international and local graffiti artists transforming Joburg's streets from Oct 7-13. On the east side of town, Victoria Yards is back with its popular First Sundays open day, where you get to meet the artists or dig into the best fish and chips in Joburg. Melville joins the First Sundays family this Sun Oct 7 too and you can start the day with some shopping at 27 Boxes before sampling street food treats at Lucky Bean.
