Health Professionals Network
We are pleased to announce the launch of our Health Professionals Network (HPN), a community of health professionals who provide care to people with asthma or allergies and who want to help improve asthma resources and services.
The HPN will give a broad range of health professionals the chance to get involved with the NAC’s projects. Members will be consulted for ideas, feedback and advice to ensure their perspective is included and that our work is relevant, accurate and impactful.
All people working in the Australian health care system and providing services to people with asthma or allergies are welcome to join.
Opportunities will vary depending on the project but will include activities such as surveys and focus groups. Members will receive an email whenever engagement opportunities are available, and members are free to participate as much or as little as they like.
For those looking for a more formal engagement opportunity with the NAC, we are also seeking expressions of interest for our Asthma Advisory Groups. Each of the three groups (GPs, pharmacists and nurses) will provide expertise and strategic policy and advocacy advice to help the NAC meet its objectives.
