Aventurine, who's name derives from Italian a ventura or all’avventura, meaning "by chance", thanks to an Italian glass worker who mistakenly dropped metal shards into a vat of melting glass which once cooled created an interesting sparkling effect that was continued when creating pieces of jewellery and other treasures.
Aventurine's soothing energy helps balance our emotional bodies, bringing us harmony and joy whilst attuning us with nature. Helping dissolve the stress in our everyday lives, this stone is an amulet of good luck and opportunity, opening us up to growth in new directions.
