Fact or Fiction:
It has been a while since I've read a book that I both love and hate, but such is the case with "Life After Google: The Fall of Big Data and the Rise of the Blockchain Economy" by George Gilder.  Gilder takes on a fascinating set of topics and proposes some genuinely compelling predictions about how technology will evolve in the future, but he goes about it is a haphazard and frustrating way.  It is obvious he has the technical chops and historical understanding of the industry to tackle these issues, but some chapters would've been better served as 800 word blog posts.  I feel like he mostly gets it right, thus this recommendation to pick up a copy.  This book also exposed me to new ideas and players in the machine learning space that will require further research.
