"Movement needs to play a large role in our life. It’s not so that we can age dynamically, but so that we can live dynamically." - Katy Bowman

What is Restorative Exercise?

Glad you asked!

Restorative Exercise is

  • a set of 70+ corrective exercises that you can learn and practice in order to have a stronger and more functional body
  • a way of pinpointing physical weaknesses for the purpose of improving flexibility, strength, mobility and balance
  • a path to wellness through frequent, consistent practice of simple, specific movements
  • a movement method that helps unwind the tensions of modern living.

I became a Restorative Exercise Specialist to offer movement programs that will change your body for the better and change your ideas about what bodies like yours can do.

Renée Klorman, L.Ac. of Roots & Burls Medicine and I taught our first Restorative Exercise workshop last Saturday. It was so much fun. Thanks to the 12 people (and 1 cute pup) who learned how to make their feet happy and healthy. Renée and I plan to offer more of these focused workshops in the coming months. Stay tuned.

Here's what participants say:

"There is a lot you would never realize you could do better!"

"I learned a lot about some things I take for granted like proper hip/knee/foot alignment."

"I loved everything about learning how to better my feet and walk."
