Internationally acclaimed Canadian woodturner and artist Michael Hosaluk will be our featured demonstrator this fall. Michael's work covers a wide range of turned objects - from functional vessels to humorous sculptural pieces. His work is elegant and full of references to architecture, place, nature, and culture. Michael was born in Saskatchewan and continues living and working there near Saskatoon.

There will also be two opportunities to attend an all-day, hands-on session with Michael Hosaluk. This is a terrific opportunity to get one-on-one coaching from Michael.
- At Lee Valley in Vaughan on Monday, October 29. There is room for one more participant. Cost: $175.00
- At Hugh Widdup's studio (Y Knot Woodturning) in Hamilton on Tuesday, October 30. There is room for two participants. Cost: $150.00

For our November 5 meeting, the Challenge is a lidded box that is no larger than:
- 4 inches in diameter, and
- 5 inches high.
The president will judge the submissions and may award first prize, second prize, third prize, and honourable mention.
