Cambridge Banner and Suffrage

Banners became an essential part of the fight for the vote and their messages were often conveyed through detailed illustrations that made them works of art in their own right. The designs and materials used were key to their success and tell us much about the women who made them.

Places are still available for this fascinating talk by Carolyn Ferguson, to be held at 7:30pm in the Enid Porter Room of the Museum of Cambridge on Wednesday 10 October.

The ticket fee of £7.50 includes entry to our current exhibition At Last! Votes for Women.
