Bob Brinker Suddenly Retires from Moneytalk
No news yet from Westwood One about a replacement. After more than three decades in production, "Moneytalk" with Bob Brinker has come to an end after Brinker announced his retirement last week. Affiliates were caught by surprise given the end came with no apparent prior notice. Brinker, understandably, wants his Sundays to spend with his family. I've heard Westwood One, the show's syndicate, will be feeding previous episodes for a few weeks. What, if anything, they will replace the show with has yet to be announced.
Weekends are already a wasteland for syndicated talk programming and the loss of Moneytalk just makes matters worse. Choices for live, entertaining content are few and far between on weekends. Thankfully, there is Free Talk Live, which is live both weekend days and weekdays as well. If you need a replacement for Bob Brinker (we also like money and are cryptocurrency experts) or just have some changes to weekends coming up toward the end of the year, please reach out via the contact information below and let me know how I can help.
