Give Life and Donate Blood!

Join members of St. Matthew's Cathedral Social Justice Ministry as we hold a blood drive on Sunday, October 21 in honor of Baby Margo Strother.

Baby Margo and her parents were parishioners at St. Matthew's Cathedral when she developed a condition that required her to be treated at Children's National Hospital here in Washington, DC. Fr. Jack Hurley of the parish ministered to the family. Although Baby Margo did not survive, her memory lives on as other children are helped by the treatment they receive at Children's National Hospital. We are blessed to have the continued support of Baby Margo's family as we host this blood drive in her memory.

We have been asked to meet our registration goal of 15 donors by October 15. Please register and help save a life!

Be sure to click here to register to give blood anytime from 9:30am to 2:30pm on Sunday, October 21. The blood donation van will be parked in front of the Cathedral. More information can be found by clicking here. Remember, one unit of blood saves up to three lives! Email Norma Canedo if you have questions.
