bentART 2019

bentART, Australia’s premier LGBTIQ visual arts exhibition and is a celebration of visual artists in Australia who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or intersex.

bentART 2019 will be held at Wentworth Falls School of Arts in the Blue Mountains Friday 7 June – Monday 10 June, 2019.

Membership
Membership for bentART 2019 is now open. Membership runs from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019, so don't wait until the last minute to renew your membership, do it now at the same low price of $10 per annum.

Donations are always welcome and all monies received goes towards funding the annual bentART exhibition. If you make a donation of $50 or more, you instantly become a Friend of bentART which entitles you to free entry to the Opening Night Preview.

Annual General Meeting

We had a great turn out for the bentART AGM on Sunday, 26th August 2018.

The election of the 2018-19 Committee was carried out and we are pleased to announce the new Committee:

Constitution Updates
There have been some minor updates to the bentART Constitution as per advice from Fair Trading. When you renew or become a member of bentART be sure to have a quick read.

Sponsorship and Raffles
Every year we have been fortunate to have the support of wonderful sponsors, who ensure bentART continues to be bigger and better every year. We look forward to their continued support and would also love to get the support of new sponsors.

Sponsorship not only benefits bentART, it also gives exposure to our sponsors. The feedback from the community shows that they support sponsors when choosing who to go to.

We want to give our sponsors value in return for their sponsorship. If you have some advertising dollars to spare and want to make a positive impact on the arts and the LGBTIQ community, contact us and we will email you a sponsors pack. This will explain what you get in return for the various levels of sponsorship.

We are also enthusiastic about in-kind sponsorships and we are specifically looking for a wine sponsor for our opening night. If you have a contact in the wine industry we could contact, please let us know.
