We are lucky to have this beautiful historic home for our Permanent Collection. And there's fresh new work in the Small Works Gift Shop and our Members Gallery, as well as two exciting exhibitions coming up in November and December. We welcoming a very distinguished visitor on Halloween, and there's still time to see Steve Smith's Artist of the Year paintings! Read on!

Bring your fall visitors to the beautiful King William Historic Arts District and drop in at the San Antonio Art League & Museum's SMALL WORKS GIFT SHOP for original art to inspire and delight. Open during regular Museum hours, Tues-Sat, 10-3.

Check out the eclectic art-for-everyone in the Members Gallery! This salon-style space showcases a new group of SAALM Member Artists every three months.

YOU'RE INVITED TO A SPECIAL ALL-SOULS FIRST FRIDAY EVENT ON NOVEMBER 2ND TO CELEBRATE THE NEW ARTISTS IN THE SMALL WORKS GIFT GALLERY AND THE MEMBERS GALLERY!! ART, REFRESHMENTS, FIRST FRIDAY FUN!

Mark your calendar for the opening of a gorgeous Invitational Exhibit featuring Sylvia Benitez and Vikki Fields. This exhibit, curated by Nancy Kempf, celebrates two of our strongest painters and will be a visual delight. It opens on Sunday, November 4th and closes on December 16th, which is also the date of our annual Holiday Party at the Art League.

Revisit 130 King William with a fresh eye to architecture! We invited a young photographer from Alamo Heights High School to take some pictures of the Art League's home with her own style and artistic vision.

Salute an international dignitary!



Thanks to Billy and Linda Keen and the Harp and Shamrock Society, Irish Ambassador Dan Mulhall will visit the San Antonio Art League & Museum on the afternoon of October 31st to view the original painting by Jose Arpa titled Irish Flats.

SAALM
will present a museum-quality reproduction of the painting to Ambassador Mulhall, who will be accompanied by City and Government officials

Give a final salute to our Artist of the Year, Steve Smith, whose paintings have graced our gallery since early September and will be on view until October 26th.

And finally, make your list and check it twice - Santa's coming to town! Save the date, Wednesday, December 19th, for the opening celebration of Visions of Santa, Billy Keen's beloved holiday exhibit. More details to follow!
