Hebocon!
18:00 Wednesday - The Shed
(You can join us in The Shed from 13:00)
This week is Hebocon - a challenge to build the worst robot that still works - and make it go against robots that other people create!
Please bring some recycling (eg. cardboard, plastic bottles) to the session to work with :)
If you've got your own electronics (RC, motors etc.) to put into these, feel free to bring them along - otherwise we have a few things that you might be able to use.
As always, you can work on your own project too.
Trip to Dungeness B Nuclear Power Station
We are planning a trip to Dungeness B Nuclear Power Station, and need to get an idea of people who would be interested in coming. Please fill out our form here.
Please let us know if you'd be able to drive there in your own vehicle and bring members with you. You will be re-imbursed for this.
Note: You need a valid UK passport or driving licence to visit, and the trip would take place on a Wednesday afternoon.
Students in the School of Computing and School of Engineering and Digital Arts can become members for free. Students from other schools are £10. Associate membership is £36.
