Celebrate Halloween at the Farmers Markets -- your favorite vendors will be getting spooky and scary! Bloom Creek Cranberries has the first cranberries (CH, WS), an assortment of fresh greens at Sol to Seed Farm (UD), perfect pears from Collins Family Orchards (ALL), Steel Wheel Farm radicchio ready for your fall salads (UD, CH), and Carnival winter squash basking in the sun at Tonnemaker Family Orchard (ALL).

West Seattle Harvest Fest


Join the West Seattle Farmers Market and the West Seattle Junction this Sunday, October 28th in our annual celebration of the harvest! With a mini-Applelooza, a Farmers Market Scavenger Hunt, Root Beer Garden, Games, Crafts, and other activities there is no better way to celebrate a great harvest!

Pumpkin carving, face painting, and hot apple cider, oh my! Join in on the fun at the 3rd Annual Pumpkin Palooza on October 28th, 2pm-5pm. Stop by Kaffeeklatsch for some Halloween fun!

Chicory Week

Get your tickets for Seattle’s first Chicory Festival, the Sagra di Radicchio! This 3-day event will be educational, delicious, social, and bitter in the best way. Celebrate chicory week with farmers, chefs, and fellow chicory enthusiasts!

1 head broccoli
1 teaspoon coriander
1/4 cup vinegar
4 tomatoes
1/2 onion
1 lemon
1 1/2 cup fresh parsley
