Ever seen yourself as a budding Graham Arnold? Or maybe you’re more of a Jose Mourinho type? We’re planning for the 2019 season and looking for new coaches across all teams and age levels to either support existing coaches and learn the trade, or step up and be The Man for your team. If you're interested we’d love to hear from you at committee@sydneyrangersfc.com.au.

To help us improve our coaching skills there’s a FFA training session focusing on the development of tactical awareness, perception and decision making through a game related approach to training on 1 & 2 December. If you’re going to be involved in the coaching set up next year SRFC will pay for the $100 fee. Event details are here. Mark Robinson, Jackson Bova, Ben Bagshaw, David Manuca, Sean Mc Kenna and Kenan Aldemir are already on the course and there are a few spots remaining.

If you can't make that course there are other sessions 1-4 Feb, and 27 Feb, 5-6 Mar (all courses are 14 hrs). If you're interested in one of them please get in touch as they'll fill up fast. 

End of Season Survey
On the subject of planning for the new season – if you haven’t responded to our end of season survey please do so asap! If you’re not returning or still not quite sure please respond as best you can so we can plan how much recruitment we need to do over the next few months.

Over the next two weekends in conjunction with PFA we have some great events in Parramatta.

This Sunday is the Parramatta Pride Picnic (link). It’s like a smaller scale Mardi Gras Fair Day and is set on the banks of the Parramatta River and runs 11am-5pm. There’s plenty of entertainment, a dog show, food stalls and a bar. We’ll be handing out flyers, recruiting for new players and it’d be great to have as many Rangers as possible there. Please get in touch if you’re free to help out at all over any of the day at committee@sydneyrangersfc.com.au.

Then, next Saturday 3 November is this year’s Western Sydney Pride event 10am-4pm at Prince Alfred Park Square in Parramatta link. This year it’s all about Zorb football with tunes from DJ Harro and a free BBQ lunch. It should be a memorable day!

Lastly, the Summer social soccer calendar kicks off again this Saturday at Brazilian fields, Centennial park (link) at 10.30am. It looks to be perfect weather for a kick about to shake off some of the rust with a few weeks break since the season and our magnificent JF Cup victory!
