The Carl Schmitt Foundation is
Getting the word out there!

Dear <<First Name>>,

I had a great time hearing CSF Executive Director, Dr. Samuel Schmitt lecture at the NYU Catholic center on Oct. 13th. I could tell from the questions and discussion during the reception that the audience was engaged and fascinated by Dr. Schmitt's insightful glimpse into the vision of his grandfather, Carl Schmitt.  Samuel closed his talk with a poignant line from the artists writings.

“I am convinced that when beauty tears at the heart of a man, he can do nothing to contain it.”

Last week, while setting up for our upcoming D.C. events I had a chance to sit down with Arlington Catholic Herald to discuss the the Carl Schmitt Foundation's upcoming symposium taking place this Saturday. I was also invited to their studio to record a short podcast. Please take a look!

As creative director of the Carl Schmitt Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to furthering the legacy of the 20th-century Catholic artist, de Sa decided to organize an Oct. 27 seminar. Defining the Role of the Catholic Artist Today: A Symposium

It's always a pleasure to introduce people to the work and thinking of Carl Schmitt and I can't wait for Saturday's event! Make sure to register to watch it live online or RSVP to attend here.

All the best,
