Hi <<First Name>>, I'm participating in some upcoming events around Vancouver and hope that you might consider stopping by!

This Saturday is the opening reception of one of the Eastside Culture Crawl preview exhibitions, Spaces, Places and Traces, where I have three works. Later in November, my studio will be open to the public as part of the Eastside Culture Crawl (Nov 15-18). Other neat things I'm also part of are the Makers Artists United Calendar and Living Hyphen journal. Full details are below.

Your support means a lot - thank you!

Launch Date & Time: Culture Crawl Opening Night - November 15, 5-10 pm

I'm one of 4 artists - all with a connection to Vancouver's Chinatown - who have contributed artwork to the Makers Artists United calendar, a project by artist Elisa Yon and risograph-printed by Moniker Press. My commissioned images appear with family recipes contributed by community members.

Not able to make it to the Crawl but want a calendar? Let me know!
Living Hyphen
My essay "Tip of My Tongue" appears in the inaugural issue of Living Hyphen, a new journal from Toronto. It's focused on the experiences of hyphenated Canadians and their stories of what it means to be a part of a diaspora, through short stories, poetry, and visual art.

Initially self-published, I'm grateful that my text has now found a home in this incredible publication, created by Justine Abigail Yu in response to the lack of diverse voices in the Canadian literature and arts scene.

Order Living Hyphen - Volume 1: Entrances & Exits or read "Tip of My Tongue" online.
Thank you for reading!
Stay tuned to news about a solo show in spring 2019 and more.
