Education Forum with Phil Evans

November 8th, 9:15 AM, Ann Arbor -- Free to all

I hope that you might consider attending our upcoming education forums for educational leaders.  Our topic for discussion will focus on the shifting educational climate which in impacted by what the World Economic Forum has described as The Fourth Industrial Revolution.  All of us are living with the fastest rate of technological change and innovation we have ever seen is redefining workplace skills and the way we go about our lives. How do we authentically prepare students to be successful in the future, with this rate of change?

Join us on November 8th at Mary D. Mitchell Elementary School from 9:15AM to discuss our collective role in shaping the future of education by modeling best practices for lifelong learning. We will look at how an International Baccalaureate (IB) education facilitates learning in today’s classrooms in ways that ensure that students are adaptable to new and unfamiliar contexts. When you register, you might also elect to tour Ann Arbor Public Schools’ IB Programmes, to see student inquiry, in action.
