     Photos From Bucks & Bows Clothing Ribbon Cutting - We held a ribbon cutting to celebrate this unique consignment clothing and retail clothing shop in Berryville last Friday, Oct. 19th at 12 Noon.  Members of the Berryville Chamber came out to show their support for this business. Bucks & Bows Clothing is located at 704 Trinnen Lane. Here are some photos of last Friday's event:











ANOTHER RIBBON CUTTING COMING UP NEXT WEEK IN BERRYVILLE...






We are excited to announce another ribbon cutting happening next Wednesday, Oct. 31st in Berryville:

     Ozark Storage of Berryville - Oct. 31st at 12 Noon. Ozark Storage joined the Berryville Chamber recently.      Free Social Media Workshop Nov. 8th

     We are excited to host another free workshop for Berryville Chamber members next month. Crystal Lyle, an incredible website creator and social media expert, will present on the basics of effective social media management.​  Some of the things she will cover is finding your voice, what to post, business etiquette for social media, plus simple tips and tricks for success. The title of this free workshop is "The Fundamentals of Effective Social Media Management"  We are so happy to have her share her great ideas and practical training with us. She has prepared a PowerPoint slideshow and there will handouts available.

     This workshop will be held in the downstairs meeting room at Cornerstone Bank in Berryville. It will run from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8th. Attendees are encouraged to park in parking lot behind Cornerstone Bank. There are only 20 seats available for this workshop, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Cornerstone Bank Co-Sponsors 'Credit 101' Class in Berryville




     Cornerstone Bank presented a free class on Oct. 20th at the Northark Carroll County Center in Berryville on how to protect and build personal credit, how credit works, improving credit scores and more. Cornerstone Bank co-sponsored the class with Northark. Pictured above, Cindy Inman from Cornerstone Bank speaks to attendees on the topic of identity theft and a whole range of credit-related issues, especially how credit affects one's life. The next community class at the Berryville campus is Nov. 3rd on hand lettering. It still be co-sponsored Northark and the Berryville Public Library. That class runs from 10:00 am - 12 Noon. Book Lovers Celebrate Berryville's Favorite Book

     During the past summer the Public Broadcasting Service "The Great Ameican Read" has been exciting readers all across the country, and the Berryville Public Library held a fun showing of the country's favorite books at the library Tuesday night. Julie Hall, librarian of the Berryville Library, revealed that Berryville's favorite book was Charlotte's Web. Refreshments were served to the enthusiastic crowd that turned out for this fun event. Berryville Public Library Programs -- Look for the Library Calendar in this issue of 'Chamber eNews.' Contact the Berryville Public Library for more details about all the unique programs they sponsor throughout the month, like Adult Book Club, Lego Club, Teen Book Club, All-Screens Game Night, Movie Night at the Library and more. They'll be handing out treats for all under 18 years of age who come to the library in costume anytime on Wed., Oct. 31st. Their phone number is (870) 423-2323.
'Howl-O-Ween Spooktacular' Oct. 27th --  Our friends at Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge south of Eureka Springs will host this 23rd-Annual event from 7-9pm this Saturday, Oct. 27th.

Mercy To Re-Open Green Forest Clinic -- On Thursday, Nov. 1st there will be a blessing ceremony and an open house at the Mercy Clinic Family Medicine in Green Forest. It will be held at 10 a.m. at the clinic which is located 100 Medical Circle. Refreshments will be served at the open house. The public is invited. 
Tickets Still Available For Princess Ball -- You can still buy tickets for only $25.00, which get one adult and one child admittance to the Berryville Rotary Club's inaugural Princess Ball from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov 3rd in the Berryville Community Center Ball Room. Dinner, dancing and fun for all. Youth receives a tiara and T-shirt (included in ticket price). Professional photos will be available for purchase at the Ball. This worthwhile event raises money for the Berryville Community Center Foundation. Call the Community Center (870) 423-2339 for tickets before they are all gone.
Veterans Day Ceremony At BVHS -- Local veterans will be honored at the 2018 Veterans Day Assembly at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 12th in the Bobcat Gymnasium at the west wide of the high school and middle school campus. Free event. Open to public Free luncheon served at approx. 12 Noon afterwards to all veterans and their guests who attend the assembly.  
Christmas Gifts Galore Scheduled For Nov. 17th -- 4th-Annual Christmas Gifts Galore returns to Berryville Saturday, Nov. 17th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Carroll County Fairgrounds in Berryville. Journeys Grief Recovery Support Group -- Meets at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Tuesday of every month. This support group is free of charge, and it is sponsored by Nelson Funeral Service, Inc., in Berryville. Meeting location is at the 1908 Gathering Place, 108 Springfield, Berryville. North Arkansas College has free GED classes for adults Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northark Carroll County Center in Bobcat Plaza.
 
Evening classes are available Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
 
These classes will prepare you with individualized study and tutoring to take the GED test. The morning classes are also open to 16 and 17 year olds who meet educational requirements. If you are 18-24 years of age, The Arkansas Workforce Center is offering a chance for 40 hours work per week for attending the classes 20 hours a week.

AIR-EVAC DISCOUNTED MEMBERSHIPS
The Greater Berryville Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with AirMedCare Networking participating providers, an alliance of four affiliated air ambulance providers, to provide a $10 Group Membership discount on the air ambulance’s annual membership fee. Discounts are also available on 3, 5 and 10 year memberships.

Mercy Auxiliary in conjunction with Area Agency on Aging sponsors an Alzheimer’s Support Group for Caregivers the THIRD THURSDAY of each month from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the conference room at Area Agency at 1204 Primrose in Berryville.

Caregivers are welcome at any meeting to share experiences and to receive comfort and resources.
