What to know and where to go in Detroit
View this email in your browser
Hey all.. Jer here.

This morning there was big new for Detroit's riverfront. There's $50 million going into West Riverfront Park from the Ralph C. Wilson Foundation and it will be renamed.

Sticking with the Detroit river theme, Sven had a great chat with the head of the Belle Isle Conservancy, Michele Hodges about what's needed on Belle Isle. They've made great progress, but there are also a lot of challenges ahead... including the story of a fundraiser that was done in waders. Here's that conversation.

And a topic we can't ignore, the high cost of car insurance. To help figure out what's happening and how we could fix it in Detroit (and Michigan), we had Michigan Auto Law's Steve Gursten on for a smart talk that focuses on solutions.

See you soon.. and on to the stories!
