Revised Schedule - GOPAC session at the 18th International Anti-Corruption Conference
(24 October 2018)

The International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark from 22 to 24 October 2018. It is the world’s premier global forum for bringing together heads of state, civil society, the private sector and more to tackle the challenges posed by corruption. This year’s theme is “Together for Development, Peace and Security: Now is the Time to Act.”

On the last day of the IACC (Wednesday, 24 October 2018), GOPAC will host a session on Parliamentarians Acting Now in Partnerships at 12:00pm-02:00pm. The session will be moderated by John Hyde (GOPAC Secretary) and Mihaela Stojkoska (Regional Anti-Corruption Specialist, UNDP). The speakers will include:

Hon. Taefu Lemi MP (GOPAC Samoa Chair/Associate Minister, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Samoa)
Deffnie Thompson (Media Officer, Vanuatu National Youth Council)

The IACC welcomes approximately 1.500 people to each conference and anyone is welcome to register to participate. Registration details and payment instruction is available at this link. GOPAC is unable to process or assist with your registration, which must be made directly to the IACC Committee. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.
