If you are looking for a job, make sure to check out the job search section of the site. I added sites that help underrepresented people in tech look for jobs. You'll see that I added a job board as well.

I'm adding more resources to help you with your tech career. I'll keep you posted! If there is something specific that you's like to see. Let me know.

Blue Raster is Hiring PROMOTION 
At Blue Raster, we pride ourselves in developing applications and tools that help our clients solve, clarify, and visualize many of the world’s critical challenges. Since 2002, we’ve partnered at the senior level with leading global organizations, helping them share their unique stories through the powerful visual medium of interactive maps.

Education/Training

SVAcademy
SVAcademy and Women 2.0 partnered together to offer placement for a select number of applicants in SVAcademy's Business Development Fellowship. It’s a part-time job training program that leads to a full-time, junior-level business role in a startup in Silicon Valley. Deadline to apply is October 20th.

Facebook's Developer Circles - Scholarship
Developer Circles from Facebook is excited to launch a scholarship program, aimed at providing developers with more tools to continue growing their skillset and training themselves in core technologies. We will be offering two tracks and have partnered with
(1) OpenClassrooms on a front-end development track and
(2) DataCamp on a data science track.

Developer Circles members around the world can apply for these scholarships and eligibility will be determined on factors including indication of interest, longevity as program members, their application submissions, and completion of the introductory training courses. Fill out the interest form and Facebook will contact you with the details of the application if you are eligible.

Deadline to apply is October 26th.

Ruby on Ice 2019

A conference about Ruby, Rails and related technologies. Deadline is Friday, November 30th. Apply here.
 

PyCascades

Seattle, WA
PyCascades is a new regional PyCon in the Pacific Northwest, celebrating the West Coast Python developer and user community. Deadline is Saturday, December 1st. Apply here.
