The Med Sustainable Tourism Community @“Ecomondo: The Green Technologies Expo”

6-9 November 2018 // Rimini Expo Centre // Rimini, Italy

Tourism can be a strategic driver for sustainable development of the Mediterranean region as it accounts for almost 11% of its global GDP. However, to attain this objective we need a greater engagement of public and private institutions and we encourage a greater citizens participation. On its 22^ Edition, Ecomondo: the green technologies expo, will be the occasion for our MED Community to meet with different actors and stakeholders of the Green and Circular Economy, share ideas and projects, advocate and lobby for even more investment in this economic model.

This year, for the first time, six communities of the Interreg MED Programme will be there from the 6th to the 9th of November in the Stand 017 of the Pavilion D4 of the Rimini Expo Center (Rimini Fiere), in Rimini, Italy. The afternoon of the 6th November in the Tiglio Room of the Pavilion A6 of the Expo Center, the Communities will organise an open conference from 14:00 to 18:00.
