Chamber Singers: 11:30 a.m.–noon At First Presbyterian Church
Great rehearsal Tuesday! Awesome to have our instrumentalists with us and the wonderful acoustics of First Presbyterian to showcase our songs.
This week we will fix a few problem areas and sing through the entire program, except doing "Freedom Trilogy" first. Please get your binders in order. Once we finish "Freedom Trilogy," we will flip to the beginning of the program and keep moving.
Remember to enunciate words, especially in "Sweet Betsy."
We know that prospective audience members have skipped our concerts in the past when they couldn't find parking. We need our music lovers and ticket sales! So...
Confer with other singers and put together a carpool/drop-off/parking strategy for concert day. Only those singers with mobility challenges will have the use of the church lot.
Parking options in town include Austin Park (and the old ice rink area), the high school lot, the municipal lot and street parking.
Spouses/friends who can provide "Uber" help will be appreciated!
Singers need to arrive by 3:00 p.m.; the concert starts at 4:00 p.m.
