Required CTSO Release Form

All 2018-19 CTSO conference participants must have a signed CTSO release form on file before the conference begins. Please click here to download a copy of the form. Advisors must keep all release forms in their possession at all times and be prepared to show them at the registration table of any CTSO (or DECA) conference. Attendees without a signed form on file will be sent home from the conference and will be unable to participate.

DECA National Chapter Campaigns

Engage your members in DECA activities throughout the year using DECA’s Chapter Campaigns as your guide. These campaigns are perfect for developing your chapter’s program of work and allow your chapter to gain the recognition it deserves.

DECA offers five unique campaigns that will help you grow your chapter and build lasting partnerships within your school and community.

There are awards for DECA chapters that attain recognition through DECA’s Chapter Campaigns, including the opportunity to earn a certificate, pennant, plaque, flag, and even three allocations to attend the THRIVE Academy at DECA’s International Career Development Conference. Be sure to read the guidelines for the specific qualifications for each campaign by clicking here.

For more information about how to successfully integrate these activities into your chapter, contact Steven Mitchell.

Tennessee DECA Membership Campaign

Last school year was an incredible year for Tennessee DECA. We want every chapter to reach new heights again this year by participating in our new membership campaign. This year, our goal is to exceed 6,500 members in Tennessee DECA, and we cannot achieve this goal without you. There will be incentives and awards in place for increasing your chapter membership by Dec. 3. The Tennessee DECA Membership Campaign and DECA National Membership Campaign can certainly help you reach your chapter goals.

Tennessee DECA Membership Update

Many chapters have already kicked membership recruitment into overdrive! It's never too early to submit your chapter membership rosters or add additional members to be eligible for the various membership campaign awards. Our Tennessee DECA membership goal is 6,500+ members by Dec. 3, 2018. The minimum chapter size required is 10 student members and one chapter advisor (or any combination of 11 paid members). The only exception is in the case of a new or reactivated chapter, which has two years to obtain the minimum chapter size.

So far, Tennessee DECA currently has 1,779 members as of Oct. 30, 2018. Will your chapter add more members and earn one of the Tennessee DECA or DECA Inc. membership campaign awards? There’s still time! Click here to check your chapter's progress.
