Special Edition Update

It is with deep regret that we announce Pamela Sieffert, state adviser for HOSA and FCCLA, will step down at the conclusion of the Tennessee FCCLA and HOSA Leadership Camp on Oct. 28. During Pamela’s tenure, she has been a valuable team member to the FCCLA, HOSA, Student Leadership, and greater CCTE teams.  She is a committed advocate for Tennessee career and technical education, consistently looking for ways to improve the resources, programs, and services provided to both teachers and students.

On Oct. 29, Pamela will continue her career in education by beginning her role with the Tennessee Board of Regents, in conjunction with the Tennessee Department of Education, as the Northern Middle Tennessee Pathways regional coordinator.  We are excited that Pamela will continue to play a role in the Tennessee education system during this next step in her career.

“I am looking forward to being a part of a new initiative to continue positively impacting the lives of our students while simultaneously working to build stronger communities and industry in Tennessee,” Pamela stated.

We will begin a formal talent search for the state adviser position by mid-November.  More details regarding the application process will be made available at this time.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Director of Student Leadership, Dr. Brittany Debity-Barker.
