Markus and I are delighted to invite you and your children to the rectory on Sunday 16th December, after the 10:30am service, for lunch and a feedback session.
We are aware that at present, there is not much in the way of kids work (for 0-11yr old's) here at St John's. We are also aware that there has been some great kids work in the past. Therefore it is really important to us to take the chance to sit down with you all and ask you, firstly what you've enjoyed about kids work in the past, and secondly, going forwards what you most want to see happen. As a church, St John's wants to invest in the lives of each and every child. To encourage them in who they are, and in their faith, as they grow and develop. As we think more about what that looks like, we want to hear from you and hear how we as a church, can support you as parents and families.
The event at the rectory will start with lunch at approximately 12:30pm before we sit down at 1:30/1:45pm to get stuck in to thinking about the kids work. While we sit down with all of you as parents there will be plenty of toys/activities for the children, as well as volunteers to keep an eye on them while we chat. We will be finished by 3pm.
We would love as many of you as possible to be there so that we can hear all your feedback, and get a better idea of how to move forward. If you intent to come, please email me, Beki, with the number of people coming (incl. children) and any dietary requirements. That way we can make sure there is enough food for everyone!
