"Women may let politics alone, politics don't let them alone!"

Join us in the Newnham Old Labs Building on Thursday 8 November for a reading of Man and Woman – The Question of the Day, a two act play first performed at the peak of the suffrage campaigns more than 100 years ago.

For one night only, a cast of prominent local thespians will revive Mary Ward's influential work at Newnham College, the author's alma mater and the location of her later engagement as one of the University's earliest women lecturers.

The evening will be introduced by Dr Ann Kennedy Smith.

Places are still available for a rare opportunity to see this groundbreaking theatrical drama.
