ATTENTION COUPLES - You're Invited to our Surprise Date Night!
 
That's right, it's time for a DATE with your HONEY!  We've taken care of the planning, you just need to bring a few bucks for a cup of coffee or to grab a snack at our surprise location.  The location is nothing fancy and trust me, you will be able to find something to eat if you are hungry!

If you have kids and need childcare we have that taken care of too and it's FREE!  You will also need to bring a snack supper for your kids to have when they arrive.

A Grace-Full Life
This Sunday, October 14, we will begin a new sermon series The companion book is available to purchase this Sunday. God's grace comes to us in four movements: "Even There, Even Now, Even More, and Even Then;" that is, prevenient grace, justifying grace, sanctifying grace, and glorifying grace. It all about living our God's all-reaching, soul-saving, character-shaping, never-ending love. 

We'll begin with a message on prevenient grace, which declares that no matter where you're from, who you are, or what you've done that God unconditionally loves you. It means that God is at work in our lives long before we are consciously aware and able to respond to it. God is with us before we know it! Read Deuteronomy 4:19, Psalm 8:3-4, Psalm 19:1, Isaiah 49:1, Jeremiah 1:4-5, John 1:9, Luke 15:20 to prepare HERE. 
Trike-A-Thon

New Hope Early Learning held their annual Trike-A-Thon this past Friday, October 12th.  Donations are being accepted online through Monday, October 15th.

Fall Festival 2018


Join us Sunday, October 28th from 4-6pm for our largest outreach event of the year.  If you would like to decorate your trunk and hand out candy to the many kids and families who visit our campus for the yearly Fall Festival CLICK HERE.  

Candy donations can be dropped off at the church office during normal business hours or in the narthex on Sunday mornings.

Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration 

Our Hispanic Congregation will be having their Hispanic Heritage Month celebration this Sunday, October 14th, immediately following their 11:00am service.  Be sure to stop by Logan Hall.

Join us as we begin a new adventure in prayer. Every Monday at 9:00am the Sanctuary will be open for staff, church leaders, and all members and friends of New Hope for a time of prayer. Please join us as you are able.

Glory Sightings at New Hope

Audrey Hill became a member of New Hope when Grace UMC was adopted by New Hope UMC.  She really thought that there would be nothing for her to do in this "big church" but come to worship and enjoy the good preaching--but God knew "Miss Audrey" had more to give!

Audrey has been a member of the Valrico Garden Club for decades and served as President until 2017.  Her gift with flower arranging was well known at Grace UMC where, over the years, she created many beautiful arrangements and unique center-pieces for banquets and special occasions.

When the leader of one of our "extravagant hospitality" missions, (that of using Sunday's altar flowers for bouquets for shut-ins and special remembrances), heard about Miss Audrey's gift, (thank-you Gloria DeVore!), she approached her about creating the arrangements. Thank-you, Melanie Salava for the inspiration and for delivering the re-arrangements!

Having now completed the 4th week of beautiful "re-arrangements," Miss Audrey, who will be 88 on October 17, agreed to let us publish her picture with some of her work!  She says," Now I know God's not finished with me yet!"
