Props Needed
Do you have a office desk we could borrow for Dirty Business?
(Don't worry it wont need CLEANING afterwards!)
Ideally a modern looking style, and with two or more drawers. We would want it for the week of our Double Bill of plays - so from Sat 20th to Sunday 28th. But subject to finding a suitable driver and towing vehicle (see below) we can transport it (in an enclosed trailer) or van for both collection and returrn.
Or do you have a large fireplace?
Lindfield Dramatic Club are looking to borrow a large fire basket (two feet or more wide) for their autumn production, ‘Inside Job’, (the same week as our own Double Bill).
Vehicle with towing hitch & driver needed
Do you have a car (or van) with a towing ball?
Can you spare an hours or two on the weekends before and/or after the play?
CDS chair and volvo-driver Peter is unavailable for the get-in is Saturday 20th, possibly the get-out on Sunday 28th. We have a trailer, and labour force, but we need a driver and towing vehicle.

Can you help CDS?
As well as finding a key prop for Dirty Business, we need a driver to tow the trailer of items to the Queen's Hall.
Once there we have a team of people ready to build the set and put up the raked seating. If you can lend us some items or some time you can help keep CDS a success.

Mayor's Election and Procession
Don't forget it's the Independent State of Cuckfield Mayor's Election on October 19th.
CDS's adopted candidate is Leanne Knapman who will be buying her her final votes at the count at the White Harte.
As one of the last parts of her fund raising Leanne is holding a final super raffle.
Prizes so far include a GoPro camera, a meal for two at the Thai Restaurant at The White Harte, another a meal for two at The Wheatsheaf, an Urban Sanctuary voucher, a gallon of whisky, a £45 voucher for New Barns gym and toiletries, a month's free classes at BPM, some Biltong, and a pair of Sunglasses from Cuckfield iWear!
More prizes are still being added as Cuckfield rallies around our most loyal mayoral candidate - this is Leanne's 14th time standing in the election.and over the years she has raised more money than anyone else.
CDS has donated two pairs of tickets for our Double Bill of The Browning Version and Dirty Business the following week.
Raffle tickets are 50p each!
You can buy them on election night at The White Harte or Leanne can take PayPal (or bank transfer) payments and put tickets in draw for you! (Her email is leanneknapman@btinternet.com).
Or why not just send her a donation!
And CDS will be joining the new mayor's procession through the village on Saturday 20th to publcise The Browning Version and Dirty Business. Why not join us for the fun!
