VIDEO: A 12-minute gentle yoga routine to help you feel amazing

Here's a short gentle yoga routine I created that my classes have enjoyed. I presented it recently at the opening of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina's center grand opening in Raleigh. This routine is both chair and standing, or all of it can be done seated if desired.

Stretch, breathe, and feel better and more relaxed! Get the video and bookmark the page.

Holy cow...I was mentioned on the Zig Ziglar podcast!!!

I had quite a thrill last week when I heard my name and words on one of my favorite business and motivational podcasts, the Ziglar Show.

The host had posed the question: "What have you achieved while still being scared?" My response was among those chosen to be discussed! You can hear it at the 28:00 mark of Episode 618.

But I'd suggest listening to the whole episode -- and subscribing -- to this podcast. The Ziglar Show is excellent and always inspiring. I've learned and grown so much from it. Listen to this episode online

Recipe: Warm up a cool day with Chicken Pot Pie

If the cool, crisp days of fall have you craving hearty comfort food, here’s a recipe that you should try — homemade chicken pot pie!

This is something I’ll often make when I have leftover rotisserie or other baked chicken. I’ve always loved making chicken pot pie, and for many years I used a recipe that called for a can each of cream-of-potato and cream-of-chicken soup. However, when I started trying to “eat clean” and reading labels, I realized that those soups include ingredients that I don’t want to ingest anymore, such as MSG.

These days I use an even better recipe that doesn’t require any soup, and it’s simple and delicious! My family loves it. Get the recipe
