Apostle visited Stanford in August, we received her and a bakkie load of Hopefarm products from Izette (Hopefield) on the Caledon road as the sun was setting over the canola fields and passed the pink compacta veld with just enough light to enjoy the beauty of our fynbos covered hills. While struggling to get a fire going in Granaat cottage (on the Paardenberg Farm of Andries de Villiers) to ward off the most of the Cape winter cold, I could share some of our life with her, and got to know her as the compassionate, very human and sensitive person we have as a leader. In the meantime, Johan and Fransi Van Wyk and team arrived at Melk and Heuning Cottage, all the way from Bothaville.
Wednesday morning started with a brunch on the stoep of the Du Bois Farm of Karien Buys. Every one scheduled for a bloodline spot for the day got to know Apostle and the team. We then proceeded with bloodline prayers, working in two groups for the rest of the day. The day ended with a meal at Beloftebos Wedding Venue with a group of the Stanford Christian Community Forum Pastors, their elders and wives. Apostle and Fransi shared and brought a word for Stanford.
After one more bloodline prayer on Thursday morning we said our goodbyes and thanked Jesus for connecting us with Ariel Gate …. We’re watching and praying, expectant of what our Farther will do with what was released into each life … so may breakthroughs, releasing people from years of struggle …. What an awesome Father we have.
