Registration is now open!


Please register here by Nov. 8th. Registration is $40 for professionals. We are pleased to announce that student registrations are free, but students still must register. Academy staff registration fees will be handled internally, but staff also must register.

 

Presentations and Posters


Submitting an abstract: If you would like to present your research, please select the "Attending & Presenting" option when registering, and contact Allison Stoklosa (ams844@drexel.edu) with your name, information, presentation title, and brief abstract. 

 

Oral presentations will be 15 minutes in length, grouped by topic, and followed by a 30 minute panel discussion by all presenters.

Poster Session! This year will feature a poster session during lunch. Students and professionals are encouraged to submit posters showcasing their work in the Delaware Watershed. All topics are welcome!

 

Deadline is October 31st for presentation and poster abstracts! We encourage anyone doing research within the Delaware River Basin to register and present a poster or oral presentation.

 

Check-in and registration for the event will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the conference will conclude at 5 p.m. A detailed agenda and more information can be found at the conference website.

The Delaware Watershed Research Conference is a component of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University's initiative to encourage novel research throughout the Delaware River Watershed and to foster collaboration among the growing research community. This gathering will serve as a platform for experts in their respective disciplines to discuss the state of watershed research, particularly within the Delaware River Watershed, toward answering management and conservation questions. Topics will range from environmental monitoring, novel research, and ecological modeling, to economic, social, and political effects and implications.
