Here is a summary some of the artwork I've done this month! This will be a straight forward Newsletter since I'm heading out to Reading, PA for Illuxcon tomorrow morning. I will be there Thurs-Sun and have a showcase table. If anyone is in the area, come say hi! Now onto the art.
Gallery 1988 has partnered with Magic the Gathering card game to have the first official "Magic the Gathering Art Show". It opens to the public only from Nov 2-4th. If you can't make it, no worries. The artwork will be sold and displayed online on Gallery 1988's website . My piece is chalk pastel with digital alterations. I haven't done digital alterations to my work in years. But, I wasn't thrilled with my colors and I hope this show could lead to future freelance work with Magic. So, I'll be offering limited edition prints in this show.

The Changeling Artist Collective presents Olde Fae, a twist on the classic card game, Old Maid. This deck contains over 60 unique, beautifully illustrated cards from over twenty fantasy artists from around the world. I have 2 illustrations of my own Seelie and Unseelie in this deck representing the raindrop symbol. I had a lot of fun making these 2 siblings.
Month of Fear is back! I've been doing this challenge since 2015. It is what started my current horror/fantasy portfolio in fact. This year I sadly decided not to be a roster artist since I wasn't sure what my schedule was. BUT I did manage to do a piece for Week 1: Lies. "Because every lie becomes it's own kind of monster. "

My latest gallery piece "GI" for Helikon's "WWI: The Great War". I was very honored to be a part of this show. This piece is sold, but you can view the whole exhibit here: click here

"The implied drawing of the solider's face could be anyone. Your husband, your brother, your father, or your friend. I wanted to produce an image that allowed the viewer to project their own poignant narrative."

"I love everything about Tim Burton. He is a master at telling a story, and an accomplished artist. He is to the visual world what Stephen King is to the literary one. My hunger for 'Dark Art' has grown over the years and has blossomed into the exhibit you are experiencing currently..." E. Hendren / Curator"

Some things have changed with my EDO schedule. I've requested that I post every 3 months. This helps me out and brings in new blood. You can still purchase some piece from my inventory by visiting my artist page: click here
