Welcome to our first event of term! Looking forward to seeing many of the freshers, and our continuing members too.

We will be hearing and discussing research on the dominant narratives and counter narratives of the commemoration of slavery, presented by QEH MPhil in Development Studies student, Aman Gupta.
He will talk about how the built environment of Bristol is home to a public debate about how we remember's Bristol's central position in the Transatlantic Slave Trade.

The research emerges from the Rhodes Must Fall Campaign at Oxford.
