Haunted Harvest, Noon to 2 p.m. on October 27
Join Sprout City Farms for the annual Haunted Harvest festival at Mountair Park Community Farm. It'll be an afternoon of free family fun in celebration of Halloween and the fall harvest, including live music, snacks, a cider press (bring your own apples!), community art projects, kids activities and more. Costumes are encouraged! Learn more.
Mountair Park Community Farm is at the corner of 13th and Depew streets, on the south side of Mountair Park.

Adult Nature Explorers
The transition from fall to winter can be dramatic in Colorado! Join us for a hike this Thursday, Oct. 18 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. while a park naturalist highlights how trees and animals alike prepare for the changing seasons.
Leave the kids at home and meet at the Bear Creek Lake Park Visitor Center to enjoy an evening out in the park! Register for $5.

Informative Nature Hikes
Ever been hiking, your kid asks "Hey, what's that?" and you just don't know? Let our park naturalist answer all the questions on our family friendly nature hikes! Participants of all ages are welcome to meander along a winding trail as we uncover the hidden secrets of the area.
The next hike is Saturday, Nov. 3 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Bear Creek Greenbelt. Bring your water and sunscreen. Registration required: $5.
