Family, Fellowship, and Farewell
A Letter from the Williams

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye in this season. We cannot begin to adequately describe the impact the OPBC community has had on our small growing family.  You welcomed us with open arms. You mentored us. You encouraged us. And most importantly, you loved us. It truly has blessed us immensely in this last year to be part of this beautiful community where the love and ministry of Jesus was palpable.

We have also loved serving the church in the music ministry. What a blessing to have the opportunity to use our gifts to serve His church...we count it all as gain. Truly, you are treasured in our hearts. I also want to encourage you, as a body of believers. I know the loss of musicians over the months might be discouraging. Do not be discouraged. The Lord is moving. He is glorified by the worshiping of the saints gathering together, regardless of strings, wind or percussion, although He may choose to use them. Please know, that OPBC is rooted and grounded in Truth, preaching the Gospel, and clinging to the Lord in the face of adversity.... and His church does not go unnoticed. We firmly believe the Lord will bless the church immeasurably in its worship. Sometimes, in humbling us, he reveals a sweet and raw and real beauty. God is good all the time. And He loves His church. Thank you for serving Him so faithfully. 

 

We will miss the sweet community of OPBC. Our only sorrow is knowing our family will not be here to grow with you here in the "devotion to teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer". We love you Ocean Park! Please keep us in your prayers and let us know how we can specifically pray for you.
