Share Waste

“Your Garden” at Gordon White Library is now registered with Share Waste.

Share Waste connects people who wish to recycle their kitchen scraps with people who are already composting, worm farming or who keep chickens.

Join us for free suicide prevention training thanks to Grapevine Group. Presented by LivingWorks’ qualified trainers who provide educational and factual information that encourages suicide alertness and promotes suicide-safer communities.

Learn how to identify someone experiencing thoughts of suicide, how to talk to them correctly and how to link them with professional help.

eSmart Libraries is a cyber safety framework designed to fully equip libraries, staff and library users with the skills they need for smart, safe and responsible use of digital technology.

We demonstrate eSmart practices by embedding cyber safety and online wellbeing into library programs and service delivery. Our members can learn appropriate skills to use digital technologies

confidently and safely, to get the best out of digital technology and avoid cyber-risks through:

engaging with us on social media
accessing our Tech Talk program.

eSmart helps reduce the digital divide by empowering staff and users to increase knowledge and skills to navigate the online world in a safe, smart and responsible way.
