Dear trainees, members and all others interested in allergies...
It is less than 3 weeks to our next training day on the 2nd November. Following the success from May, when all spaces were taken, we hope to see many of you coming back for our day 2 - Immunology. This time we will focus on the ecological principles when treating patients with allergies including an introduction to the different treatment techniques that we use like Enzyme Potentiated Desensitization (EPD) and it's relative LDA, Low Dose Neutralization Immunotherapy and others.
As before we have allocated two full hours for you to discuss your cases with the BSEM Panel. This time we will be joined by Drs Shideh Pouria, Damien Downing, Apelles Econs, Jean Monro and Abbi Lulsegged. So please bring along your cases; current trainees will be given priority.
This will be followed by an overview of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) by Dr Abbi Lulsegged, an exciting end to the day.
