Hendersonville Bear Auction


David & BOAZ sit near the bear they helped design after the auction. What an amazingly creative way to spread the love of dogs!

It's no secret that the David and Freda Grover share our passion for loving dogs, after all a sweet chocolate lab named BOAZ did change their lives. When they found out they could design and purchase a bear for the annual auction, in a dog's likeness, they jumped at the chance! The bear they helped create had not just one dog, but several different breeds all rolled into one. It sold for $6,100 at auction, with $4,600 coming back to paws4people! We are delighted to finally see this masterpiece come to life. Thank you so much for this generous donation!

While we know by now many of you have had a chance to walk around ADDIE's Way, sharing in the excitement and anticipation of our opening, we realize not everyone in our community may know what we have been up to. Beginning in January 2019 we will offer tours of the property, allowing visitors one-on-one time to discuss our vision and our future. Stay tuned to see the upcoming schedule starting next year.
