Having a legacy in film and advertising, he is co-founder of 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks. He co-produced many films with Spike Lee through the 1980s and 1990s, including “She’s Gotta Have It”, “School Daze”, “Do the Right Thing”, “Jungle Fever”, “Malcolm X” , “Crooklyn” and #AirJordans#Nike commercials.
STEAM Teams visited partner NOSACONN @ Gentillyfest in New Orleans. NOSACONN (New Orleans South Africa Connection) was founded by Damon Batiste and serves greater NO and Louisiana areas as well as different countries in Africa in musical and cultural arts. STEAM Teams is partnering with NOSACONN to bring its unique style and delivery of STEM Education to New Orleans.
