SBIR Advance Solicitation Open -
New Eligibility Requirements


The SBIR Advance program provides state matching funds, training and other resources to Wisconsin businesses to advance the commercialization of SBIR/STTR-funded technology.  SBIR Advance grants are used for commercialization activities that will accelerate business development and improve company opportunities for Phase 2 and Phase 3 federal awards and for investor funding.

Eligibility requirements have changed!  If you haven't been eligible before, check again.

Phase 1 award match: Matches up to $75K or 50% of Phase 1 SBIR or STTR award.
Phase 2 award match:  Matches up to $100K per year for up to 2 years of Phase 2 SBIR/STTR award.

Letter of Intent Due January 3rd
Full Application Due January 17th

The Dpt of Energy announces $200K Phase I awards available for innovations in Cybersecurity, Advanced Manufacturing, Bioenergy, Buildings, and more.  Learn more about the DOE SBIR funding announcement here.
