From Tragedy to Triumph
Dear IBN Partner,
The young lady in the picture above was a healthy single mother with 2 children. With the help of her parents, she was raising them. At the young age of 24, she was diagnosed with lupus and this started the fight for her life.
After a year of fighting, she took a turn for the worse. She spent a month and a half in the hospital. Shortly thereafter, she went to be with the Lord. A week later, the children's father came and moved them to Florida. The grandparents were heartbroken. In a matter of days, their only daughter passed away, and their grandchildren whom they saw almost every day of their lives, now lived with their father in another state.
The grandparents began praying and asking God to make a way for the children to come back home. One year later, the grandparents received a phone call. This phone call would be the answer to their prayers. The children's father called the grandparents and he wanted to move back to Georgia. God heard the grandparent’s prayers, and their grand-babies were coming home!
During their grieving process, the family found IBN on the radio. The grandfather said, “the music, programs, and announcements were a source of encouragement and comfort for our family during the most difficult time of our lives.”
Because of your generosity in giving to this radio ministry, the Lord used IBN to bring comfort to this family when it seemed as though there was no hope. Thank you for helping us be a beacon of hope to families just like this!
