It Is Never Too Late

Their smiles and happy demeanor defies the challenges that these three girls and their little brother have gone through.  The girls look much younger than they really are.  The oldest, Gladys and Purity are twin 16-year-olds. Due to financial challenges, they are only in grade 7. The second born, the “smiling Elizabeth” as the family refers to her, is 9 years old and in 4th grade while Victor, who is 7 years old is in grade one.

Their mother Winfred is a hard-working widow. She relies on their small farm to provide food and other needs for her family but it never enough. Winfred’s husband died three years ago, and life for the family has increasingly grown harder. I am, however, convinced that it is never too late to inspire hope in Winfred’s life and her four lovely children.

The good news is that despite the family’s inability to keep the children in school consistently, they are bright and have the potential to a bright future. Indeed, with a little hand-up, they can make it in life. That is why I am sharing their story with you today. I am appealing for the sponsorship of these beautiful children.
