I hope you are having a great day. I am appreciative over the amount of support that was shown at our last Teacher Town Hall Meeting on October 10th at Mt. View High School. We had numerous teachers, superintendents, council members, and community members attend. It was standing room only! We also want to give special thanks to Supervisor Joe Simitian for moderating the meeting.

I also wanted to announce that I was invited to go to the 49th Annual Teacher Recognition Celebration. I was pleased to be present
along with Vice Mayor Steve Leonardis and Council Member Marico Sayoc who are wonderful supporters of our local teachers when Diana Hill, the President of the Los Gatos Teacher Association and 5th-grade teacher, was presented with the Teacher of the Year Award for Santa Clara County.
