We're excited to bring our fall speaking tour,
"How to Stop a Dam with Indigenous Resistance," to the El Paso and Las Cruces area November 13-15. Please join us in strengthening solidarity with and between Indigenous peoples fighting for social and environmental justice, both in the Guatemala and the Southwest, by coming to one or more of these public events.

Indigenous Syposium: Water Protection


In partnership with local organizers and New Mexico State University, NISGUA's tour is participating in three days of direct exchange with Indigenous water protectors from throughout the Southwest and U.S. Here is an overview of the events, many of which are open to the public:

  • Share with your community - See the full itinerary of public events in Washington, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico and invite your friends!

Together, we discussed the importance of indigenous organizing, grassroots exchange, and community consultations.
