Number Drummer performance Nov. 19
The PTA-sponsored Cultural Arts performance of Number Drummer has been rescheduled for Nov. 19. Students should enjoy this show with math and music!

Middle School outing to Frankie's Fun Park on Nov. 2
The first middle school outing will be on November 2 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Frankie's Fun Park. No permission slips needed since this is not a school event. Entrance is free, and all are welcome to come hang out. In order to qualify for the group discount, we need a minimum of 10 students to purchase the Fun Package. This discount is $32 and includes four attraction passes plus $10 in arcade money. This is all loaded on individual cards to be swiped at each attraction and arcade game. Cards are re-loadable.

Tickets will be on sale before school in the locker hallway every morning this week before school, from 7:45 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. This will help us all to have an easier check-in on the evening of the event.

Can you help on the PTA Nominating Committee?
We are looking for three parents to join the Hilburn PTA nominating committee. The nominating committee is responsible for putting forth a slate of volunteers to steer our PTA’s activities in the upcoming year. Most of the work will come during the spring, as we actively recruit people to fill different roles. At this time, we are looking for people to join the Nominating Committee, as our bylaws state we need a committee in place by November 1. 8th Grade Field Trip Interest Meeting
WHEN: 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1
WHERE: Room 511
Mr. Clark will host an information and discussion meeting for parents interested in chaperoning or helping with the logistics of the field trip to Asheville, N.C. and the mountains on March 20 to March 22.
