Hey, I made a card game!

Support the project on Kickstarter!
I should explain.

In addition to making books, I've spent the last few years teaching creative writing at schools around Australia.

One of my most effective exercises involved combining characters, settings and plots from various movies and TV shows. I eventually turned this into a card game to make it a better teaching resource. Soon my students were role-playing as film producers, coming up with original storylines for movies such as "Panic Club", "Black Room" and "Orphan Fight" (mash-ups of Orphan Black, Panic Room and Fight Club.)

It was so much fun.

I started using the game outside the classroom, playing it with friends (and sometimes strangers). Now I want to share it with the whole world!

This game makes a great gift for film-buffs, writers, improv enthusiasts and other creative types. (It also makes a great tool for teaching kids creativity and public speaking.)

If you support the project on Kickstarter, you can get a copy of the game, and even contribute your own ideas to it. You can also get lots of other cool rewards, like autographed Jack Heath books (naturally) and stories written about you.
Support the Kickstarter!
Can I ask a favour? Even if it doesn't sound like your kind of thing, please share the project on social media! I bet you have a creative friend (maybe even a teacher) who would love to hear about it.

And don't worry. Even if the game's a smash hit, I'm not going to stop writing books! More Liars, Hangman and Danger books are coming very soon.

Thanks for your support, and for taking the time to read this email.

Your pal,
Jack
