The Monarch Ultra (New Documentary Project)

The Monarch Ultra will tell the story of the monarch butterflies who migrate from southern Ontario to central Mexico every fall. This story will be running the entire length of 4,200km starting in Peterborough, Ontario, and ending in the Sierra Madre Mountains, in Mexico in the fall of 2019!

Aiming to raise awareness about the plight of monarch butterflies, and of pollinators in general, whose populations are in steep decline. The Monarch Ultra is a story about our connection to the land and the beauty, resiliency and strength of the runners and the people we will meet along the way, amplified even more by the monarch migration.

The Monarch Ultra team needs your help to make this dream a reality! Visit their Kickstarter page here and support the project if you can.
