The Young Entrepreneurs Competition 2018,
a journey of 5 University Teams and 2 School Teams participating in the INJAZ Company Program!
It was a day full of enthusiasm, ambition and will for school and university students who witnessed the fruit of their hard work during their five-months participation in the Company Program. A sincere thanks go to everyone who made this happen, for showing your support and for being there during their big day!
For the 12th year, INJAZ Lebanon held its annual national Young Entrepreneurs Competition (YEC2018) on October 12, 2018, under the patronage of Banque du Liban (BDL), at the École Supérieure des Affaires (ESA, Institute for Finance and Governance IFG) to select the “Best Company Award” winners for each of the university and school tracks, sponsored by Mastercard and Samsung respectively.

Students worked hard for 5 months during the Company Program with the help of volunteering mentors to start their companies. They organized themselves into management teams, selected a business idea, raised capital, prepared a business plan, marketed and sold their product or service to get ready to compete for the Best Company Awards at the YEC2018!

- DR. LEDA -
University team winner

Team “Dr. Leda” provided a web/app platform for educating people on different mental and emotional disorders and providing help and support to people enduring emotional disorders.

- RE-PATCH -
School team winner

Team “Re-patch” presented a model of a Social Enterprise that trains and employs marginalized women to recycle fabric waste into bags, quilts and other sellable materials.
Both winning teams “Dr. Leda” and “Re-patch” will represent Lebanon and compete against other teams from 13 Arab countries at the INJAZ Al-Arab’s Regional YEC, taking place on November 26-29, 2018 in Kuwait.
